Key Values
Traditional
Our grapes are carefully handpicked and individually selected. In the wine cellar, we combine traditional manual labour with ‘State-of-the-Art’ technology, such as precise temperature-controlled fermentation.
7 Generations
The Haro family has specialized in making authentic wines for over 7 generations. With our experience and passion, we ensure that we reflect the unique elements of the grape in your glass of wine.
Sustainability
To respect the environment we are committed to taking sustainable measures:
-
Water Management.
-
Use of green energy.
-
Reduction of CO2.
-
Glass recycling.
-
Usage of recycled material for packaging and corks.
High altitude areas
The vineyards are situated on elevated areas. Sometimes even at 900 meters above sea level, which provides freshness, structure and intense aromas.
Unique Terroir
The terroir gets its authentic and complex character through various external influences. The microclimate through the influence of the Mediterranean or the Atlantic Ocean, Mountain range and variety of soil types allows the grapes to develop unique aromas and flavours.
Awards
Our wines are highly appreciated by international professional juries such as Wine Spectator, Decanter, Bacchus and Sakura Japan. Recently we received a golden medal from the Berliner Wine Trophy and a particularly high score of 97 points from Robert Parker from our Ribera del Duero wine, Maximo.
